FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! IDOL BEGINS #1

After wasting 5 weeks of my life (that I will never get back) watching the MOST boring auditions for American Idol EVER, we are finally down to the Top 24.......

The judges need to be more critical-they have been way too nice "you're SPECIAL" and it's making me ill. I greatly prefer Impaired Paula to sincere Paula. Impaired Paula always rambled on and on and was amusing in her incoherence, but sober Paula is just really rambling and irritating. SImon has been far too tolerant and forgiving-if I wanted to watch something sweet or inspiring, I'd search for re-runs of Little House or Touched by an Angel. Randy is so full of himself that he is annoying, so at least he's keeping me awake.

Im not hopeful about this group (they dont seem nearly colorful enough), but I commend the judges for getting rid of the entitled beauty queen with marginal talent, and for weeding some of the really insipid folks-I wanted to choke all the single parents who "need" the competition to " take care of my child". HEY DUMMY, dont get knocked up at 13-get an education and then you can breed AFTER you grow up AND support your family. What a concept. I did not realize that the only way to raise your kids as a single parent was to become an Idol and celebrity....my poor kids were so terribly deprived and tormented when all I did was WORK to support them.

I really appreciate the hype about this being the MOST TALENTED GROUP EVER, but dont they tell us that every year??

The bad auditions this year were not up to par with previous seasons (No William Hungs), with one notable exception......James (in the Century 21 gold jacket) who said on the first night of auditions that he was going to "sing low" for his audition..........I will never forget the awe-inspiring chorus of "LET MY PIPPLE GAOOOOOOOO" (let my people go) First runner-up was definitely the blogger couple who "met right over there by that there trash can" who could not keep their hands off each other......

Still, I miss William Hung and Darwin the missing link (dontcha wish your girlfriend was HOT like me).....maybe the goofus in the white cape and hat who sang his own song "Brothers Forever" should be one of the loser finalists for 2008......

Temptresse-whose-mother-weighs-600-lbs-but-even-still-the girl-cant-sing is certainly getting a lot of play on ET- she weighs 282 lbs at age 16 and now they have her starting on Jennie Craig and being mentored by Kimberly Locke (Season 2, 3rd place).
